This series of abstract metal sculptures begins with the act of collecting discarded or overlooked materials. Rusted panels, bent rods, industrial scraps — each carries a trace of previous use, bearing marks of labor, weather, and time. Through welding, cutting, and recomposition, the process transforms these remnants into new forms that challenge their original function. The intuitive, hands-on nature of the process allows the sculptures to evolve organically. Metal is coaxed into tension or eased into balance; welded seams become lines of connection rather than repair. The resulting works sit at the intersection of construction and deconstruction, honoring the material’s history while asserting its new identity.
